Since we visited him last year, we have developed a friendship and longterm partnership with Diego. HACHI is a high-end project spanning Panama and Colombia with co-precessed coffees from Allan and Diego -focusing on traditional processing methods (washed and naturals) with increased control and quality using Diego's background in science.
It’s amazing to find out that your coffee heroes are also just amazing people. Diego is the kind of person who uses his resources and time to help those who have less and are in need - not to mention he is a processing genius and is one of the leaders pushing coffee cultivation forward.
